B Corp and ISDIN Agenda 2030
The B Corp certification is a movement promoted by the non-profit organisation B Lab and certifies companies that work to improve society. The certificate is awarded after exhaustive examination of companies that are committed to economic, social and environmental development and that carry on their businesses in a transparent and responsible way. ISDIN is one of the 3,800 B Corp companies in the world. This status is the result of our commitment to and philosophy on wellness and caring not only for people's skin and health, but also for our employees, our customers and the environment. These are the goals behind our continued efforts to make our company and our world better places.
Develop innovative and respectful products
- More than 95% of our packaging will be eco-designed.
- We will use a minimum of 25% recycled materials.
- All raw materials used in ISDIN products will be certified with the highest social and environmental criteria.
Enjoy a healthy planet
- We will achieve carbon neutrality (offset).
- Our carbon emissions will be reduced by 20%.
- All of the waste generated in our sites will be recovered, becoming "0" waste in all our facilities.

De "Certified B Corporation" merk wordt exclusief in licentie gegeven aan bedrijven die het BIA-beoordelings- en verificatieproces met succes hebben afgerond. B Lab en zijn filialen zijn de enige entiteiten die verantwoordelijk zijn voor het verlenen van licenties voor het "Certified B Corporation" merk.
De BIA hanteert criteria die zijn goedgekeurd door de Standards Advisory Council van B Lab, een groep met meerdere belanghebbenden die bestaat uit leden van over de hele wereld met specifieke expertise in verantwoord en duurzaam ondernemen. De BIA is (a) onafhankelijk van geharmoniseerde of internationale normen en (b) niet specifiek goedgekeurd of geautoriseerd door enige overheid of internationale autoriteit. B Lab fungeert niet als een "nationale accreditatie-instantie" en wordt niet erkend als een "conformiteitsbeoordelingsinstantie" onder EU-verordening nr. 765/2008, aangezien het niet heeft gestreefd naar een "accreditatiecertificaat" krachtens artikel 5 van genoemde verordening. Bovendien wordt B Lab niet geclassificeerd als een nationale, Europese of internationale normalisatie-instelling volgens EU-verordening nr. 1025/2012. De criteria van BIA zijn niet in overeenstemming met ISO-normen of die van andere internationale accreditatie-instellingen. Als gevolg hiervan moeten bedrijven die het merk "Certified B Corporation" gebruiken en personen die bedrijven tegenkomen die dit merk gebruiken zich ervan bewust zijn dat het gebruik van het "Certified B Corporation" merk betekent dat het bedrijf eenvoudigweg heeft voldaan aan de door B Lab geformaliseerde criteria in de BIA, maar deze criteria mogelijk niet in overeenstemming zijn met die welke worden erkend door internationale of overheidinstanties.
